However, I did write this bit with Promotion in mind, a kind of promise to myself that Melissa's hair would be done to match what she was feeling she needed to project when she did it in the morning. Also that everyone loves her hair more than she does; I haven't had a chance to have her suggest cutting in in front of Julian, but he would (respectfully) have the same sentiment Ellie here does.
